For the last 15 years, I’ve worked as a unit stills photographer on major motion pictures and television productions, and in parallel I’ve been a stills photographer for advertising and commercial campaigns, creating digital assets for marketers, brands, agencies, and studios across television, film, commercial, and social media.

Working quickly and quietly, getting the shots without getting in the way—it’s second nature to me.

While the film crew works, I study the lighting and blocking, and I observe the talent. Every moment is spent absorbing not just the technical aspects but also the energy. I’m making mental notes about the stills I’ll capture.

When I’m given time with the talent, I work in short, focused rounds. My direction is specific and minimal. It feels effortless, like a conversation.
